AnthroMed® Pharmacy

Since 2012, the AnthroMed® Pharmacy quality label has been available to pharmacies worldwide. The contractual partner responsible for the quality label in the field of pharmacy is the International Association of Anthroposophic Pharmacy (IAAP).

The AnthroMed® Pharmacy label enables pharmacies to make their specialised expertise and high standard of professional counselling visible to patients, physicians, and therapists. It complements existing professional qualifications, such as certification as an Anthroposophic Pharmacist.

Eligibility to use the AnthroMed® Pharmacy label requires compliance with defined quality standards and accreditation criteria. These ensure that accredited pharmacies possess the necessary expertise and professional qualifications to provide advice on anthroposophic medicinal products at the highest professional level.

The IAAP develops the core quality requirements for accreditation in close collaboration with the Medical Section and the other professional groups within the AnthroMed® community. Based on this framework, the respective national pharmaceutical associations establish detailed quality standards and are responsible for managing the accreditation process in their countries.
