CARE Areas to focus the work of the Medical Section

Care-Areas

The individual person with their illness or biographical challenge is at the centre of anthroposophic medicine. Since 2017, the Medical Section has launched six multi-professional international care projects to develop prevention and therapy concepts for common illnesses or problematic life situations between birth and death. ‘Care’ stands for caring perception, counselling and action. Experienced doctors, nurses, movement, art and body therapists as well as psychotherapists work together in the project groups. Their best practice recommendations are contributions to integrative medical care, including educational concepts. They are freely available on the Anthromedics specialist portal. The care projects also aim to promote multi-professional collaboration for training and teaching, public relations work and research.
