New eurythmy therapy training in Spanish

The Arlesheim Academy for Anthroposophic Medicine is offering a new training course in eurythmy therapy in Spanish. The training is aimed at Spanish-speaking eurythmists with a diploma recognised by the Section for the Performing Arts at the Goetheanum. The language of instruction is Spanish or English with Spanish translation. The participants come from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela.

Training programme:

  • 8 in-person modules lasting 2–3 weeks
  • Accompanying online meetings in study and regional practice groups
  • Integration of the multiprofessional online courses ‘Foundation Studies’ and ‘Clinical Case Course’

‘Foundation Studies’ is a one-year online course that provides an introduction to anthroposophic medicine. In the second year, the ‘Clinical Case Course’ follows with case discussions and teaching units on diagnosis and therapy concepts.

The training began on 1 February 2025 with the first ‘Foundation Studies’ module. The practical learning of the eurythmy therapy exercises takes place exclusively during the in-person modules.

The first in-person module (7–21 July 2025) will take place in Arlesheim to mark the start of the course at the birthplace of eurythmy therapy (Goetheanum and Klinik Arlesheim). Further modules will be held in Majorca, mainland Spain and Latin America.

The training is based on the occupational profile for complementary therapists of the Swiss organisation OdA KT (Organisation of the World of Work – Complementary Therapy), but does not lead to a corresponding certificate or Swiss federal diploma. It is recognised by the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, which means that participants receive a diploma upon successful completion.

Persons responsible:

  • Directors of eurythmy therapy: Norman Kingeter, Rob Schapink (both Klinik Arlesheim), Libertad Aguilar (Colombia)
  • Medical contributors: Judit Kedves, Philipp Busche, Robert Fitger
